DETAILED JOB DESCRIPTIONĀ 

Ā·Ā Ā Ā Ā Ā Ā Ā  Operate and maintain electrical chillers and steam absorbers.Ā  Maintain and repair heating, air conditioning, ventilation systems, boiler, or cooling tower systems from single room units to complete building systems.Ā Ā Ā 

Ā·Ā Ā Ā Ā Ā Ā Ā  Maintain building/equipment temperatures and conditions through the operations of the BAS (Building Operation system) computer.Ā 

Ā·Ā Ā Ā Ā Ā Ā Ā  First responder to elevator trouble and entrapment, all emergency codes, power outages (both large and small), ā€œHot & Coldā€ calls.Ā 

Ā·Ā Ā Ā Ā Ā Ā Ā  Operate a pneumatic tube system and its computerized control, maintain and make necessary repairs.Ā 

Ā·Ā Ā Ā Ā Ā Ā Ā  Monitor and maintain chemical levels in cooling tower water treatment system.Ā  Repair and maintain plumbing systems, open sewer drains, and replace faucets.Ā 

Ā·Ā Ā Ā Ā Ā Ā Ā  Check and operate fire alarm systems; operate and maintain medical air, vacuum, control air, and other lift safety air systems.Ā 

Ā·Ā Ā Ā Ā Ā Ā Ā  Maintain basic electrical circuits and equipment and maintain building accessories such as tables, chairs, carts, gas and electrical equipment.Ā 

Ā·Ā Ā Ā Ā Ā Ā Ā  Provide coverage for engineering-related duties during off-shifts.Ā 

Ā·Ā Ā Ā Ā Ā Ā Ā  May complete unit/department specific duties and expectations as outlined in department documents.Ā Ā 

REQUIRED QUALIFICTIONSĀ 

Ā·Ā Ā Ā Ā Ā Ā Ā  High school diploma or an equivalent combination of education and experience from which comparable knowledge, skills and abilities can be acquired.Ā Ā 

Ā·Ā Ā Ā Ā Ā Ā Ā  One (1) year of experience in the maintenance and operation of building mechanical systems including HVAC maintenance, electrical, plumbing, electrical and pneumatic control systems, drawings, and technical specifications.Ā Ā 

Ā·Ā Ā Ā Ā Ā Ā Ā  One (1) year of experience in the maintenance and operation of high pressure boilers and associated equipment, where applicable, for positions responsible for maintaining boiler and cooling tower systems.Ā Ā 

Ā·Ā Ā Ā Ā Ā Ā Ā  Personal driver license; class F or higher for Missouri residents.Ā Ā
