Change lives every day.”   Overview Salary Range: $50,000-$65,000 Position Type:  Full-Time – Exempt Location: Columbia, MO Benefits:  Great benefits package including generous sick and vacation time, medical, dental, vision, 401K and more!   About the Role Impact Support Services is looking for a proactive, organized, and compassionate Program Manager to lead our Community Living homes. You will be the primary advocate for the individuals in your assigned homes, ensuring they live full, integrated lives while overseeing the team of direct care professionals who support them. This role combines clinical coordination, staff mentorship, and operational management.   Key Responsibilities Individual Advocacy & Care: Oversee all aspects of assigned homes; coordinate healthcare appointments, lead the Person-Centered Support Planning (PCSP) process, and ensure all medical and community integration goals are met. Team Leadership: Hire, train, and supervise direct care staff. You will be responsible for coaching your team, evaluating performance, and managing staff schedules and payroll within budget. Home Operations: Maintain a safe, clean, and organized environment for residents. This includes coordinating with landlords for maintenance and managing the financial stability of individuals in coordination with the finance department. Compliance & Documentation: Ensure timely completion of shift documentation, event reports, and Medicaid-compliant progress reports. Assist in maintaining standards for DMH and CARF accreditation. Agency Coordination: Collaborate with stakeholders (DFS, SSA, and internal teams) to ensure zero service interruptions for the individuals we serve. QualificationsRequired Skills Clinical Assessment: Ability to accurately assess complex medical needs and solve problems proactively. Communication: Excellent writing and organizational skills; ability to maintain collaborative relationships with internal and external stakeholders. Technical Skills: Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel/Outlook) and ability to learn industry-specific software like Therap, Paycom, and StationMD. Qualifications Education & Experience: A high school diploma or GED is required. An associate's or bachelor's degree is preferred. Candidates must be eligible to qualify as a Department of Mental Health (DMH) Degreed Professional Manager (DPM) or possess a bachelor's degree. Previous supervisory experience is preferred. Compliance: Must possess a Class E Missouri Driver’s License (or be willing to obtain one), proof of vehicle insurance, and pass a criminal history background check. Physical & Working Conditions: Physical Requirements: Ability to lift up to 50 pounds, bend, stoop, and stand for significant periods. Availability: This role includes on-call coverage during the week and a rotating weekend schedule. Direct care coverage may be required in emergency staffing situations.
