Description

Are you a seasoned recruiter with a knack for finding top talent? Do you enjoy building partnerships across teams, creating strong candidate experiences, and helping a growing company scale the right way?

Socket Fiber is looking for a Recruiter to support hiring across the organization—from Sales, Field Technicians, and Fiber Splicers to Network Engineers, Customer Support Specialists, and more.

In this role, you’ll own the full recruitment lifecycle while helping shape how we attract, engage, and hire talent. You’ll partner closely with hiring managers, represent Socket in the community, and play a key role in building the teams that power our growth.

A Day in the Life

You’ll start your day reviewing open roles, checking in with hiring managers, and prioritizing where to focus your recruiting efforts. From there, you might source candidates for a hard-to-fill technical role or connect with candidates to move them through the process.

Some days you’ll be deep in sourcing and pipeline building; other days you’ll be attending a local event, partnering with a leader on a new role, or extending an offer. No two days look the same—but every day, you’re helping build the team that drives Socket forward.

What You’ll Do

Key responsibilities include:

  • Full-Cycle Recruitment: Manage the end-to-end hiring process across a variety of roles, including sourcing, screening, interviewing, offer negotiation, and onboarding support
  • Strategic Sourcing: Develop and execute sourcing strategies using tools like LinkedIn Recruiter, Indeed, and other platforms to attract top talent across technical, field, and corporate roles
  • Hiring Manager Partnership: Partner with leaders across the business to define role requirements, align on expectations, and identify candidates who are both qualified and a strong fit
  • Candidate Experience: Deliver a professional, transparent, and engaging experience for all candidates from first touch through offer
  • Pipeline Management: Build and maintain strong talent pipelines for current and future hiring needs
  • Employer Branding: Represent Socket at career fairs, community events, and online to attract and engage local talent
  • Data-Driven Hiring: Track and analyze recruiting metrics to continuously improve hiring strategies and outcomes
  • Market Insight: Stay informed on hiring trends, talent availability, and compensation benchmarks

What Will Help You Stand Out

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business, or a related field
  • General knowledge of telecommunications services (i.e. fiber internet and wireless)
  • Experience in a high-growth or scaling organization

Desired Attributes

Beyond the qualifications, these attributes are what make someone a great fit for our team:

  • Relationship-driven – You build trust quickly with candidates and hiring managers
  • Organized and proactive – You stay ahead of hiring needs and manage multiple priorities with ease
  • Adaptable – You’re comfortable shifting between different roles, teams, and hiring demands
  • Community-focused – You enjoy representing the company and building local talent pipelines
  • Results-oriented – You take ownership of your roles and drive them to completion
  • Positive and engaging – You create a welcoming and professional experience for every candidate
