Job Summary:

  Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) assesses, diagnoses, develops treatment plans and treats patients with language, speech, and swallowing disorders.  The SLP monitors patients’ progress and documents.


Essential Functions

  • Performing assessment, diagnoses, and developing treatment plans for language and swallowing disorders.
  • Conduct tests to discover voice, speech, and swallowing abnormalities.
  • Provide information to patients and families regarding speech difficulties and their causes,
  • Keep meticulous records of patient symptoms, treatment plans, therapies and progress. motivating patients

  • Communication skills (verbal and written)
  • Required Education :Master’s degree in speech language pathology, speech therapy or equivalent.
  • 1 – 3 years speech therapy  Hospital experience preferred

  • Speech Language Pathologist license in state  (BLS) certification
