Job Title: Clinical Intern
Department: Clinical / Therapy
Reports To: Licensed Therapists
Position Summary:
The Clinical Intern will support our therapy team in providing high-quality care to clients at Apex Recovery. This internship provides hands-on experience in behavioral health, client support, and therapeutic programming under the direct supervision of licensed therapists.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist therapists in group and individual sessions.
- Observe and learn therapeutic techniques and interventions.
- Support documentation and charting as directed.
- Help prepare materials for therapy sessions and activities.
- Provide general client support under supervision, ensuring safety and adherence to Apex Recovery standards.
- Participate in team meetings and trainings.
Qualifications:
- Current enrollment in a relevant degree program (Psychology, Social Work, Counseling, or related field).
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to maintain client confidentiality and professionalism.
- Willingness to learn and take direction from licensed therapists.
