What You’ll Do The Installation Specialist - Tech I has a variety of duties and responsibilities that include, but are not limited to: Customer & Project Coordination Deliver Exceptional Customer Support: Provide top-notch service via phone, chat, and email to customers, installers, and partners, ensuring a smooth and positive experience. Problem-Solve in Real Time: Address and de-escalate customer service issues, escalating to management when necessary to ensure prompt resolution. Coordinate Installations: Schedule installation projects with precision, collaborating closely with installation crews and managing updates to support field offices effectively. Verify and Maintain Accuracy: Review field measurements and sold contracts, resolving discrepancies to ensure installations meet exact specifications. Warehouse & Logistics Operations Material Handling: Load and unload flooring trucks using a forklift, pallet-jack, or manually. Crew Support: Load out installation crews efficiently with the proper materials. Inventory Control: Oversee inventory management and organize supplies, including specific duties like carpet pad management and bailing pads. Facility Maintenance: Maintain the warehouse and office so they remain neat, clean, and free of debris. QualificationsSkills & Experience Customer-Centric Communicator: Always prioritize delivering the best service with a professional, positive attitude. You know how to listen and communicate with clarity. Detail-Oriented: Proven ability to handle data accuracy, verify measurements, and manage records meticulously, utilizing basic computer and math skills. Warehouse Operations: Proven warehouse experience with the ability to operate a forklift (forklift experience is required). Driven Team Player: Self-motivated and quick to address challenges and find practical solutions. Physical Capability: Strong ability to safely lift and move heavy products. Qualifications High school diploma or GED equivalent. Experience working in a warehouse environment. Experience working in flooring installation or construction is highly preferred. Other Requirements Must be able to successfully pass a background check. Must possess and maintain a current, valid driver's license. Work Environment Setting: Warehouse environment subject to varying temperatures, varying noise levels, and potential exposure to fumes and airborne particles. Physical Demands: Requires the ability to climb, push, pull, squat, bend, reach overhead, and stand/walk for long periods of time.
