We are seeking an experienced Foreman to manage and lead a crew of construction workers on our projects. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring that work is completed safely, efficiently, and to the highest level of quality. As a key member of our team, the Foreman will work closely with project managers and other stakeholders to ensure that projects are completed on schedule and within budget.

Responsibilities

  • Manage and lead a crew of construction workers, including scheduling, assigning tasks, and monitoring progress
  • Ensure that all work is completed safely, efficiently, and to the highest level of quality
  • Ensure that all crew members comply with relevant laws, regulations, and safety standards
  • Communicate regularly with project managers and other stakeholders to ensure that work is completed on schedule and within budget
  • Develop and maintain relationships with crew members and subcontractors to ensure that they are aware of project schedules and deadlines
  • Train crew members on safety procedures and best practices
  • Manage project resources, including materials and equipment, to ensure that they are used efficiently and effectively
  • Identify and resolve issues that arise during construction projects
  • Other duties as assigned

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent; some college coursework or vocational training preferred
  • 5+ years of experience in construction, with experience in a leadership role
  • Strong leadership skills, with the ability to manage and motivate a team
  • Excellent communication skills, with the ability to communicate effectively with a variety of audiences
  • Strong analytical skills, with the ability to analyze project data and identify trends and opportunities for improvement
  • Experience with government contracts and compliance is a plus
