What You’ll Do

Process customer transactions using point-of-sale (POS) systems
Scan items and ensure accurate pricing
Handle cash, cards, refunds, and exchanges accurately
Bag customer purchases and assist with carryout when needed
Greet customers and provide excellent customer service
Maintain a clean and organized checkout area
Support promotions, cross-selling, and product awareness
Assist in other store areas as needed
Perform opening and closing duties as assigned

What We’re Looking For

Previous cashier, retail, customer service, or sales experience preferred
Familiarity with cash registers and POS systems
Strong communication and customer service skills
Basic math and cash handling accuracy
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
Professionalism and attention to detail
Ability to handle stressful situations positively
Flexible availability (days, evenings, weekends, holidays)

Work Environment

Fast-paced grocery store front-end environment
Exposure to varying temperatures near entrances and exits
Standing for extended periods; lifting up to 25–50 lbs
