As a Material Handler, you will play a key role in the business, completing a broad variety of tasks relating to the storage and distribution of materials and tools to our branch locations across the U.S. and within the site. You will ensure the receipt, shipping, coordination, and safety of goods coming through the warehouse, frequently using a forklift to move product. You will be responsible for housekeeping as necessary to maintain an organized work environment in accordance with brand standards and operational best practices.

Duties and Responsibilities

Operating a forklift
Unloading received deliveries and placing in directed rack locations
Picking and packaging materials for shipment
Loading outbound trucks
Movement of materials throughout the facility to support manufacturing, receiving, and shipping
Maintain a safe, clean warehouse work environment
It is an essential function of this job that the employee regularly and reliably reports to work on time each working day.
Performs other duties as assigned

Qualifications

GED or High School Diploma
1 year of experience in a warehousing environment
Experience operating a scanner
Ability to maintain a safe, clean warehouse work environment
Ability to procure OSHA certification and forklift license

Working Conditions

Material Handlers will be in a metal fabrication and warehouse environment.
Full-time, non seasonal work.
