SUMMARY
Ensure customer satisfaction and branch profitability while managing installation segment resources.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS, DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Always exhibits the highest standard of personal ethics and adheres to all Pella Carolina policies
- Promote a culture of safety and accountability by adhering to established protocols, proactively identifying potential risks, and fostering a workplace environment where safety is a shared priority
- Supervise Project Coordinator team.
- Supervise sub-contracted installation crews when needed.
- Maintain adequate staffing of support staff and installation crews.
- Perform some order verifications as needed for scheduled installation jobs for orderable dimensions and special needs. Perform routine job site inspections per installation guidelines.
- Follow-up with customers after installation is completed. Trouble-shoot problem jobs and create action plans for recovery. Follow recovery plans to completion.
- Enforcement of recovery procedures.
- Track & assist with collecting outstanding Accounts Receivable.
- Roll out PSI final 2 phases (Installation and Service) & Handle Branch Champion responsibilities for PSI.
- Interact with Operations & Sales personnel to resolve job related problems when needed.
- Strives to achieve corporate goal of Customer Satisfaction, while making it easy for Customers to do business with the company and promoting market share growth.
- Track & hold team accountable for installation metrics of 1ˢᵗ time completion, reasons not completed, installation lead time, installation gross margin, and crew productivity.
- Help the Replacement Department achieve branch standards or Returns & Allowances and Customer Satisfaction.
- Other duties may be assigned as determined necessary by Management.
QUALIFICATIONS:
College Degree preferred, High School Diploma or equivalent required.
Two years general carpentry, window/door, or housing industry experience required. Three to five years of supervisory experience as window installation manager or equivalent.
Superior computer skills (PSI, OMS, PQM) needed. Excellent verbal and written language skills needed.
Ability to present information, gather information and respond to questions from customers, managers and co-workers.
Able to multi-task and set priorities. Strong organizational skills required.
Ability to problem solve on a daily basis. Self discipline and self initiating abilities required.
Excellent basic math skills including measurements, dimensions of windows, size of glass, square footage, discounts, percentages, billing, and credit, etc. required.
Basic understanding of construction blueprints required.
PHYSICAL DEMANDS:
While performing the duties of this position, the employee is regularly required to stand, walk, stoop, kneel, crouch, twist, turn or crawl. The employee must regularly lift and or move 100+ lbs. when moving window products and hardware. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, and ability to adjust focus to read written company labels, forms, and other documents as well as the computer.
