Sales Representative - Mahoning and Shenango Valley | Full-Time M-F 8a-430p

Compensation: Competitive salary rate + unlimited commission & company vehicle!

ABL Wholesale Distributors has proudly served retailers across Ohio, Pennsylvania, and West Virginia for over 50 years. As we continue to grow, we're seeking a driven and relationship-focused Sales Representative to join our team and manage the Mahoning and Shenango Valley area.

This role is ideal for a motivated individual with strong sales skills, a customer-first mindset, and the ability to both grow new accounts and nurture existing ones. You'll report directly to the Sales Manager.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Identify and sign new customers through cold calling and prospecting

  • Grow existing customer accounts with regular visits and weekly check-ins

  • Present new product opportunities and review weekly promotional flyers

  • Provide training on ordering systems and support tools

  • Act as the communication bridge between ABL and retail clients

  • Maintain accurate records of customer visits and orders

  • Troubleshoot and resolve customer issues promptly

  • Coordinate participation and customer registration for the Annual Trade Show

  • Participate in monthly sales meetings

Requirements:

  • 2+ years of sales and relationship-building experience

  • Strong communication skills (written and verbal)

  • Professional, dependable, and proactive attitude

  • Comfortable using Microsoft Office 365; AS400 experience is a plus

  • Ability to work independently in a fast-paced, evolving environment

  • Excellent customer service and problem-solving abilities

  • Valid driver's license and clean driving record

Physical Requirements:

  • Ability to stand, sit, and walk for extended periods

  • Must be able to lift and carry up to 40 lbs
