We have an opening for a Machine Operator in our Construction Products plant.

Responsibilities: 

• Performs filling and packing work assignments and material handling duties to support various operations.
• Choose appropriate materials to complete a job (i.e. tubes, boxes, labels, etc.)
• Set up equipment and machinery for operation
• Works with a team to label and package quality adhesives in various size containers that are ready to ship on time to the company’s customers.

Qualifications

• HS Diploma or equivalent required
• 18 years of age or older
• Must pass pre-employment drug screen, physical and background check
• General mechanical aptitude, machine operating and multi-tasking experience is a plus
• Must be able to wear required PPE (Personal Protective Equipment)
• Union membership required after 30 days of employment

Shift 
2nd shift (3pm – 11:15 pm)

Initial training will occur during 1st shift which is 7:00 AM - 3:30 PM
Occasional overtime may be required.

Pay 
$25.79 per hour until certified, then $30.18 per hour plus a shift differential of $1.75 per hour is paid for 2nd shift.

Training hours worked on 1st shift will not include shift differential.
