Description

The Finance & Strategy Associate plays a critical role in enabling the success of the Finance & Strategy Business Manager and the Finance & Strategy Leadership Team (FSLT). This position provides operational, project and talent development support, ensuring seamless execution of strategic priorities through handling logistics, documentation, coordination and follow-up tasks. Ideal for a detail-oriented, proactive professional who thrives in a fast-paced environment, this role offers exposure to senior leadership and opportunities to grow within the finance and strategy functions.

Key Responsibilities

Project & Initiative Support

  • Assist in tracking progress of strategic and high-priority projects, maintaining project documentation, and following up on action items.
  • Support the preparation and distribution of reports, presentations, and meeting materials for the CFO and FSLT.
  • Coordinate and monitor project timelines, proactively identifying risks to deadlines.

Operational & Administrative Excellence

  • Manage scheduling, calendar coordination, and logistics for leadership team meetings, forums, and events.
  • Prepare agendas, take meeting minutes, and ensure timely follow-up on assigned tasks.
  • Maintain organized records of initiatives, priorities, and business cadence activities.

Collaboration & Communication

  • Facilitate communication across the Finance & Strategy organization by preparing updates, summaries, and correspondence.
  • Support cross-functional collaboration by coordinating with HR, engagement program managers, and other stakeholders.

Leadership & Talent Development Support

  • Assist in the execution of leadership forums, town halls, and talent development programs (including rotational, internship, and mid-career programs).
  • Help gather feedback, track participation, and compile results for talent initiatives.

Special Projects

  • Play a key role in high-impact projects as determined by Business Manager, CFO, or Colleague Engagement Leader.

Basic Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree
  • 5+ years of relevant experience in business administration, project coordination, or executive support

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience supporting senior leaders or working in a matrixed organization
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (PowerPoint, Excel, Word, Outlook)
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities independently and work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment
  • Proactive problem-solver with a continuous improvement mindset
  • Familiarity with project management tools and practices
  • Interest in leadership development and organizational engagement
  • Demonstrated ability to handle confidential information with discretion
  • Comfort with ambiguity and ability to adapt in a dynamic environment
