Filler Operator
Position Summary
To serve our internal and external customers by ensuring that product containers (e.g. bottles and cans) are filled according to established company standards.Â

Essential Functions
- Operates Filler Machine; ensures that the correct product type and quantity is filled into cans or bottles according to established company standards; performs product changeovers; works to help the company meet efficiency goals by removing and clearing jams, making minor machine adjustments.Â
- Verifies the correct product and date codes are entered into the coder and are accurately printed on the productÂ
- Adheres to all company policies, standards and procedures (e.g. OSHA and safety requirements, AIB and Pepsi standards, Federal/State/Local laws); wears all required personal protective equipment.Â
- Ensures that correct can lids and bottle caps are placed into the appropriate machine to maintain the filling process.Â
- Communicate with co-workers, supervisor and management team regarding any issues with equipment, product quality and production process, supervisor regarding questions or issues with daily assignment.Â
- Performs code checks, and taste tests; completes code check reports, taste test reports, downtime reports, time-off requests and other required paperwork according to established standards.Â
- Works assigned schedule, exhibits regular and predictable attendance and working overtime as needed to meet workload demands. Performs other related duties as required.Â
- Performs seam checks and bottle cap checks; verifies seamer and/or paper is operating according to established standards.Â
- Maintains cleanliness of work area (e.g. cleans up any product and/or container spills; disposes of trash and recycling materials into proper containers).

High School or GEDÂ required
Â
ExperienceÂ
0 - 1Â years of machine operator and/or production line experience; previous beverage production experience strongly preferred.
Â
Other Requirements
Knowledge of beverage production process; how to operate a computer/tablet. Skill in internal customer service. Ability to: work quickly, efficiently and independently; communicate effectively with other employees and develop good working relationships; adapt to change; read; write; perform basic math functions (e.g. addition and subtraction); be trained in operating a forklift, computer, filler and other mechanical equipment. Ability to stand on feet for long periods of time (8+ hours). Other functions, skills and abilities may also apply.Â
