Job DetailsJob Location: Ohio HQ - COLUMBUS, OH 43204Salary Range: $26.00 - $32.00 Hourly Overview: The Carpenter is responsible for constructing, installing, repairing, and maintaining wood, plywood, wallboard, doors, frames, hardware, and related building components. This role performs layout, fabrication, installation, and repair work in accordance with project specifications, safety standards, and applicable building codes. What You’ll Do: Read and interpret blueprints, plans, and specifications to determine layout, materials, and construction methods. Measure, mark, cut, and assemble materials using hand and power tools. Layout and frame structures using standard carpentry tools (levels, squares, measuring devices). Install and fasten materials including framing, doors, windows, hardware, paneling, and related components. Construct and repair structural and finish carpentry elements such as partitions, subflooring, stairs, and cabinetry. Verify work for accuracy, alignment, and structural integrity. Safely use ladders, scaffolding, and other access equipment as needed. Maintain tools, equipment, and work areas in a clean and safe condition. Follow company safety standards, jobsite procedures, and applicable building codes. Ability to read and interpret construction drawings and specifications. Knowledge of carpentry tools, materials, and safety practices. Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently. Ability to meet physical demands, including lifting up to 100 lbs., climbing, and extended standing or walking. Must be able to perform the physical requirements of the role, including climbing and maintaining balance on ladders and scaffolding; lifting and carrying objects weighing up to 100 lbs.; reaching, handling, and manipulating objects and materials; stooping, kneeling, crouching, crawling; and using close and distance vision, with or without reasonable accommodation.
