Company Description

Job Description 

The Indirect Tax Analyst supports global indirect tax compliance, reporting, and analysis across Sales Tax, VAT, GST, and other non‑income tax areas. The role focuses on accurate filings, operational support, process improvement, and cross‑functional collaboration with finance, vendors, and external partners.

This job is located at our Global Home Office in Columbus, Ohio.  

What Will You Be Doing? 

  • Prepare and assist with indirect tax returns — Support preparation of miscellaneous Sales Tax, VAT, GST, and other indirect tax filings across multiple jurisdictions, ensuring accuracy and timely submission
  • Prepare annual incentive workpapers — Compile and maintain Incentive documentation; coordinate with vendors to obtain required tax information and validate completeness
  • Support refund claims and spend analysis — Assist with refund claims, including data gathering, reconciliation, and monthly spend analysis to identify refund opportunities
  • Perform month‑end close activities — Prepare assigned journal entries and account reconciliations related to indirect tax accounts
  • Identify process improvement opportunities — Evaluate existing workflows, propose enhancements, and help implement more efficient tax processes and controls
  • Support tax audits — Assist with audit requests, documentation gathering, and responses to tax authorities
  • Assist with e‑invoicing initiatives — Contribute to e‑invoicing compliance projects, including data validation and process alignment with regulatory requirements
  • Participate in cross‑functional projects — Provide tax support for special projects as needed, ensuring indirect tax considerations are incorporated into business decisions

What Do You Need To Bring? 

  • BA/BS Degree in Accounting, Finance, Tax or related field preferred
  • 4+ year prior accounting and/or indirect tax experience preferred
  • Demonstrated ability to manage multiple priorities while consistently meeting compliance deadlines
  • Proven capacity to work independently and drive tasks to completion
  • Strong sense of ownership, curiosity, and commitment to continuous learning
  • Collaborative mindset with the ability to build effective cross‑functional relationships
  • Strategic thinker with the ability to anticipate risks, identify opportunities, and contribute to long‑term planning
  • Strong accounting and technology skills to drive process efficiencies
