Job Responsibilities and Duties:

• Provide comprehensive emergency medical care in a free-standing ED

• Manage patient care independently during 12-hour shifts

• Collaborate with mid-level providers during overlapping hours (12 PM - 12 AM)

• Handle all aspects of patient documentation

• Assess and stabilize trauma cases for transfer to tertiary centers

• Coordinate patient transfers for admissions to appropriate facilities

• Utilize Allscripts and Paragon electronic health record systems for documentation

• Adhere to emergency department protocols and best practices

• Maintain efficiency in a dynamic emergency setting

• Demonstrate strong decision-making skills for patient care and transfers
