The CoverMyMeds Pricing team is looking for a Director of Strategic Pricing to lead our pricing strategy and optimization efforts. Reporting to our VPof Pricing, thisis a highly visible leadership role responsible for shaping the pricing frameworks to drive profitable growth, unlockvalue on the core business and innovate new go to market models. 

This role is ideal for pricing and finance professionals who have a passion for building data-driven pricing models and want to influence commercial decision-making. You will lead a high-performing team of finance experts and work cross functionally with leaders across Product, Finance,Commercial, Strategy & Business Development, and Executive Leadership. 

What You’ll Do 

  • Pricing strategy - Develop CoverMyMeds pricing approach to support growth across diverse market segments, including payer, provider, and biopharma 

  • Design innovative pricing models - Build and implement outcomes-based, tiered, subscription, and risk-sharing pricing strategies to accommodate evolving business models and customer expectations 

  • Translate insights into impact - Use market intelligence, customer feedback, and competitor benchmarks to inform pricing decisions 

  • Enable go-to-market success - Partner cross-functionally to align pricing with product positioning, value delivery, and commercial execution 

  • Serve as athought partner - Adviseleadership on pricing trade-offs, monetization strategies, and strategic deal structuring 

  • Direct pricing operations and reporting functions, ensuring data accuracy, governance, and actionable insights 

  •   Mentor and leadSr Analysts by elevating analytical rigor, and establishing best practices across the team 

 

Qualifications  

  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, Business, or a related field 
  • 12+ years of experience in a pricingor finance/FP&A role with 4+ years of management experience.  

  • Experience in healthcare, life-sciences or pharmaceutical services highly desirable, but not required 

  • Ability to establish a high-performing team and to attract, coach, and grow talent  

  • Ability to drive strong analytic and critical thinking in support of structured and unstructured business initiatives 

  • Experience leading change and transformation efforts in fast-paced or ambiguous environments 

  • Track record in collaborative problem-solving and leading through influence 

  • Strong leadership and executive communications skills  

  • Regularly interacts with senior management or executive levels on matters concerning several functional areas, divisions, and/or customers. 

  • This is a Columbus only based role

The pay range shown below is aligned with McKesson's pay philosophy, and pay will always be compliant with any applicable regulations. Our Base Pay Range for this position

$117,400 - $195,600
