Job Summary
Serves as Hospital concierge while supporting the safety and security services to all patients, visitors and staff. Handles all telephone calls and walk-up requests for designated area. Supports programs of Guest Services to include facilitating guest transportation, maintaining wheelchairs stock in lobby and directing complaints/questions to appropriate personnel. Performs other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
Minimum Required 1-year general office, customer service or experience in a health care setting.
Preferred/Desired 3 years general office or customer service-related experience.
Responsibilities
- Answers telephones and greets customers using customer service techniques to promote positive image of organization.
- Serves as Hospital concierge while supporting the safety and security services to all patients, visitors and staff.
- Monitors services and supplies for accuracy and effectiveness, maintaining reports and departmental documentation.
- Assist with orientation of new volunteers.
- Completes assigned goals.
