SUMMARY
St. Vincent Prep Academy is currently looking for Behavioral Specialists for grades pre-K-5 for the 2026/27 school year.Â
 Â
PRIMARY DUTIES
- Utilize behavior modification techniques to monitor progress and promote growth.  Â
- Implement and use Trauma Informed Care.Â
- Assist with planning for school and summer programming and special events.Â
- Promote parental involvement. Â
- Provide crisis intervention as necessary.Â
- Facilitate behavior group as needed.Â
- Act as a role model to children to promote appropriate interaction and coping skills.Â
- Assist transportation services with boarding and de-boarding the children.Â
- Provide a safe, structured environment free from physical, verbal or emotional abuse for each child.Â
Â
EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE & SKILLS:Â
- Highschool diploma plus 3 years of experience working with children required.
- Bachelor’s degree preferred (Bachelor’s degree does not require 3 years of experience).
Language Skills: Ability to respond to common inquiries or complaints from clients, regulatory agencies, or members of the business community. Â
