PURPOSE STATEMENT: 

Mount Carmel Behavioral Health, a joint partnership between Acadia Healthcare, is an 80-bed hospital that provides acute inpatient and outpatient care for adult men and women, age 18 and above, who have been experiencing mental or behavioral health challenges.

 

We also offer focused care for individuals whose primary psychiatric diagnosis is accompanied by co-occurring addiction.  We are seeking Behavioral Health Associates to join our fabulous team! 

 

PAY RANGE BASED ON EXPERIENCE: $15.00-$20.00 HOUR

 

Provide administrative support to facility management to ensure efficient operation of the facility.

 


ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS: 

  • Support managers and employees through a variety of tasks related to organization and communication.  
  • Responsible for confidential and time sensitive material.  
  • Familiar with a variety of the field's concepts, practices and procedures.  
  • Effectively communicate via phone and email ensuring that all duties are completed accurately, delivered with high quality and in a timely manner.  
  • Attend meetings and take accurate minutes. 
  • May responsible for accurate and timely physician credentialing. 
  • May direct and lead the work of others. 
  • May manage and coordinate administrative programs and office activities.  
  • Create spreadsheets, manage databases and prepare presentations, reports and documents as needed.  
  • Answer telephones and take messages or transfer calls. 
  • May cover the reception desk when required. 
  • Calendar management, schedule appointments, update calendars and arrange staff meetings 
  • Must have healthcare field experience ie; interacting with physicians, directors and front line staff.
  • Prior EMR knowledge and a plus if Wellsky

OTHER FUNCTIONS:  

  • Perform other functions and tasks as assigned. 

EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE/SKILL REQUIREMENTS: 

  • High school diploma or equivalent required 
  • Associates degree preferred.
