What You'll Do as an Administrative Professional 4

  • Independently formulate decisions &/or judgments involving non-legal interpretation of policies & procedures as they would apply to given situations to resolve problems.

  • Prepare & respond to correspondence &/or reports or carry out other assignments. 

  • Review & summarize personnel reports.

  • Represent supervisor at meetings or conferences with other agencies.

  • Communicate decisions, directives &/or assignments to appropriate staff.

  • Represent division or agency on interdivisional task forces or committees.

  • Organize meetings &/or conferences.

  • Maintain confidential files; Prepare records retention & disposal schedules & arrange record transfers.

  • Enter requisitions & pay invoices; Serve as payment card holder for the Office of Personnel.

Option 1

30 mos. exp. or 30 mos. trg. in secretarial/administrative professional field. 

Option 2

-Or completion of associate core coursework in secretarial science or business office applications from accredited career school or community college; 

AND 12 mos. exp. in secretarial/administrative professional field. 

Option 3

-Or 12 mos. exp. as Administrative Professional 2,16872. 

 

-Or equivalent of Minimum Class Qualifications For Employment noted above.
