Lead AI Engineer – REMOTE

Role Summary

Seeking a Lead AI Engineer experienced in Conversational AI, Generative AI, Context Engineering, and Agentic AI across Google, AWS, and Microsoft ecosystems. The role involves designing AI agents, integrating APIs and enterprise systems, ensuring secure deployment, and mentoring AI engineers.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design, develop, deploy, and optimize Conversational AI, GenAI, and Agentic AI solutions.
  • Build conversational flows, virtual assistants, NLP/LLM solutions, and API integrations.
  • Design AI solution architecture, data access, APIs, and system integrations.
  • Monitor and improve agent performance using Looker dashboards, analytics, and tuning.
  • Ensure AI solutions meet security, privacy, governance, and responsible AI standards.
  • Lead technical reviews, POCs, emerging technology initiatives, and architecture discussions.
  • Mentor AI engineers and collaborate with business SMEs, UX, BA, PM, and CoE teams.
  • Prepare and present technical proposals, solution architectures, and documentation.

Required Technical Skills

  • Google: CX Agent Studio, Dialogflow CX, Google Conversational Agents / CCAI.
  • AWS: Bedrock, Transcribe, Comprehend, Lambda, Step Functions.
  • Microsoft: Microsoft Foundry, Azure AI Search, Azure AI Language, Copilot Studio, Power Platform.
  • Analytics: Enterprise Looker dashboards for AI agent monitoring.
  • Programming: Python, C#, .NET, JavaScript, or similar.
  • Strong knowledge of API design, NLP, LLMs, GenAI, Agentic AI, and chatbot development.
  • Experience integrating AI assistants with SharePoint, Office 365, and third-party APIs.

Education & Experience

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field; equivalent experience accepted.
  • 6+ years IT experience, including 4+ years in Conversational AI and/or GenAI implementation.
  • 2+ years developing Google Conversational Agents / Dialogflow CX / CX Agent Studio for web and voice assistants.
  • 2+ years developing Enterprise Looker dashboards for AI agent performance.
  • 2+ years hands-on AWS AI experience with Bedrock, Transcribe, Comprehend, Lambda, and Step Functions.
  • Microsoft Foundry / Agentic AI experience is preferred.
  • Google and AWS certifications are highly desired.
