APPLICATION DEVELOPER - INFORMATION TECHNOLOGY

EMH&T is seeking a motivated and detailed-oriented Entry Level Application Developer to join our growing IT division. In this role, you will work under the guidance of the Application Development Manager and contribute to projects that modify or enhance existing software platforms and support the creation of new applications. This position is ideal for candidates who are eager to learn, develop their technical skills, and make a meaningful impact on real business solutions. Position is located in Columbus, Ohio and requires to be in-person.

Responsibilities

• Assist in the design, development, coding, and testing of technical solutions across new and existing applications.
• Support the creation of project documentation, including features, modules, and requirements.
• Monitor key project metrics and participate in quality control initiatives to ensure accuracy and performance.
• Review and help implement testing criteria, contributing to robust and reliable software releases.
• Assist with the maintenance and enhancement of existing software applications, including updates, repairs, and modifications as needed.
• Collaborate with team members to understand business needs and translate them into effective technical solutions.

 Qualifications 

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Software Engineering, or related technical field, specializing in application development.
• Hands-on software development experience.
• Foundational knowledge of .NET, Visual Studio, C#, VB, JavaScript & HTML.
• Demonstrated experience using ESRI ArcGIS applications is beneficial.
• Integration experience with SQL or other Database platforms.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities with a good understanding of IT systems and processes.
• Ability to multi-task and take on new projects and assignments.
