Business Manager

At Senior Star, we believe every associate plays a role in creating meaningful moments for residents and families. We're seeking a Business Manager who combines strong financial, accounting and operational expertise with a genuine passion for people.

This is more than an accounting role. As a key member of our leadership team, you'll oversee the business operations of the community while building relationships with residents, families, associates, and fellow leaders. The ideal candidate is organized, detail-oriented, calm under pressure, and able to balance multiple priorities while delivering a warm, hospitality-driven experience.

What You'll Do

  • Lead the day-to-day business office operations, including billing, accounts payable, accounts receivable, and financial reporting.
  • Supervise and support the Front Desk team to ensure a welcoming resident and visitor experience
  • Partner with the Executive Director and leadership team to support community goals and operational success
  • Build positive relationships with residents and families while assisting with questions and concerns
  • Manage multiple deadlines and priorities while maintaining accuracy and attention to detail
  • Continuously look for ways to improve processes and create efficiencies

What We're Looking For

  • Strong accounting, bookkeeping, or business office management experience
  • Previous experience in a senior living community is a plus.
  • Proven ability to manage competing priorities and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
  • Leadership or supervisory experience
  • Excellent organizational, communication, and computer skills
  • A service-minded professional who enjoys connecting with residents and supporting others
  • Ability to remain positive, flexible, and solutions-focused when challenges arise
