  • Translate complex business and data needs into clear technical requirements, functional specifications, and user stories.
  • Analyze existing data products, business processes, system functionality, and data structures to identify gaps and recommend improvements.
  • Coordinate QA and user acceptance testing (UAT) for data products and system enhancements, developing test plans, scenarios, and acceptance criteria.
  • Design and create synthetic or other test data sets to validate data pipelines, edge cases, and product logic.
  • Validate data outputs, pipeline changes, and releases to confirm accuracy and stability before deployment.
  • Write and execute SQL queries to research, validate, and analyze data in support of requirements, testing, and issue resolution.
  • Research and interpret existing code, stored procedures, and data structures, to understand and document product logic and business rules in partnership with the technical teams.
  • Analyze data flows and system integrations to understand dependencies and support requirements, testing, and issue resolution.
  • Investigate  complex product and data questions and develop clear technical documentation for technical and business audiences.
  • Serve as a key point of coordination between business stakeholders, development, and QA teams throughout the software development lifecycle.
  • Develop and maintain documentation, including process flows, data mappings, use cases, and requirements traceability.
  • Identify opportunities for process improvement and automation to improve data quality and efficiency.
