Catering Server

Job Purpose:
- The Catering Server at LIFECARE ALLIANCE is responsible for organizing and running food service at various catering events. This role involves serving and clearing all food courses, setting up buffet tables, and ensuring the maintenance of proper food safety procedures to deliver an exceptional dining experience.

Key Responsibilities:
- Organize and run food service at various catering events.
- Serve and clear all food courses at various events.
- Set up buffet tables efficiently and aesthetically.
- Maintain proper food safety procedures in compliance with company standards.
- Assist in the set-up and clean-up of catering events, including tearing down of sales displays and materials.
- Perform manual work, including heavy lifting up to 40 pounds, as required.
- Utilize company vehicles for transportation needs, requiring a valid Ohio driver’s license.
- Work quickly and accurately in a fast-paced environment.
- Communicate effectively through both written and oral communication.
- Follow oral and written instructions accurately to ensure smooth operation of events.

Qualifications

Required Education:
- High School Diploma or equivalent

Required Experience:
- Experience in organizing and running food service at various catering events
- Experience in serving and clearing all food courses at various events
- Experience in setting up buffet tables
- Experience in maintaining proper food safety procedures

Preferred Experience:
- Previous catering or serving experience

Required Skills and Abilities:
- Must have a valid Ohio driver’s license; company vehicles available for use
- Must be able to perform manual work, including heavy lifting up to 40 pounds
- Ability to handle catering event set-up, clean-up, and tearing down of sales displays and materials
