What You Will Do:
- Strategic Fiscal Leadership: Supports the Administrator of Federal & Capital Accounting by overseeing fiscal management, controls, and federal funding coordination for ODOT, including acting as liaison with FHWA.
- System & Process Optimization: Evaluates and improves existing fiscal systems and processes, emphasizing streamlining, automation, and quality‑driven practices.
- Personnel Management: Directly supervises staff by assigning work, setting goals, coaching, evaluating performance, and ensuring project alignment with organizational objectives.
- Capital Accounting Oversight: Directs capital accounting operations, including encumbrances, payments, and administration of FHWA reimbursement programs (Current Bill), Federal Program Management (FPM), and Capital Project Closeout (CPC) processes.
- Stakeholder Advisory & Reporting: Provides expert guidance and training on federal funds, oversees reporting and documentation, monitors legislative impacts, and manages final settlements of local participation agreements and related financial activities.

- Technical proficiency in financial systems and reporting tools including advanced Microsoft Excel skills.Â
