The Coves at Columbus is seeking an energetic and results-driven Leasing Agent to join our leasing team and play a key role in maximizing occupancy and resident satisfaction. This individual will be responsible for managing the full leasing cycle—from prospecting and touring to lease execution and move-in coordination—while maintaining a professional, upbeat, and resident-focused approach.Â

​Key Responsibilities:Â
​Leasing & SalesÂ
​Greet, engage, and build rapport with prospective residents during tours and throughout the leasing processÂ
​Present available units and community amenities in an appealing, persuasive, and informative mannerÂ
​Effectively communicate the value and benefits of living at Lifestyle Apartments, highlighting features, services, and community lifestyleÂ
​Consistently meet or exceed monthly leasing goals, occupancy targets, and follow-up metricsÂ
​Accurately prepare, process, and review lease applications and documentation in compliance with Fair Housing regulations and company policiesÂ
​Follow up with prospects via phone, email, and CRM systems to convert leads into leasesÂ
​Marketing & OutreachÂ
​Assist with on-site and digital marketing efforts including social media content, outreach to local employers, and community eventsÂ
​Maintain accurate and up-to-date listings on platforms such as RentCafe, Zillow, Apartments.com, etc.Â
​Track traffic and leasing performance using internal reporting toolsÂ
​Coordinate move-in logistics, welcome packages, and resident orientationsÂ
​Customer Service & RetentionÂ
​Provide exceptional service to current and prospective residents through timely communication, issue resolution, and friendly interactionÂ
​Actively participate in resident retention initiatives including renewal efforts, community events, and follow-up surveysÂ
​Assist in coordinating resident satisfaction efforts and address service-related concerns quickly and effectivelyÂ
​Administrative & Operational SupportÂ
​Maintain daily knowledge of apartment availability, pricing, and lease expirationsÂ
​Assist with daily property and curb appeal inspections, model upkeep, and cleanlinessÂ
​Coordinate closely with the Property Manager and maintenance team to ensure vacant units are market-readyÂ
​Input all prospect, traffic, and lease data into Yardi or CRM platforms in real-timeÂ
​Ensure leasing office and tour paths are consistently clean, organized, and welcomingÂ
​Requirements & Qualifications:Â
​2+ years of customer service or sales experience (leasing, retail, hospitality, or real estate preferred)Â
​Previous experience in apartment leasing or residential property management strongly preferredÂ
​Strong communication, presentation, and negotiation skillsÂ
​High energy, outgoing personality, and professional appearanceÂ
​Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Outlook, Excel, Word); Yardi experience is a plusÂ
​Excellent organization and time management skillsÂ
​Must be available to work weekends and flexible weekday hours as neededÂ
​Ability to walk the property, show units (including upper floors), and lift up to 25 lbsÂ
​High school diploma or equivalent; college coursework in business or real estate is a plusÂ

​Base Salary: $19-$24/hr + $100 Commission/ unit leased
