Job DetailsJob Location: Clark Lane Middle School - Waterford, CT 06385Waterford Public Schools  has an immediate vacancy for a team-oriented individual.  Waterford Public Schools is seeking a General Worker for Food Services Department. The schedule for this position is Monday - Friday, 9:00 a.m. to 1:00 pm. Inspiring Every Child.”   The District’s facilities include three elementary schools, one middle school and one high school.  The Waterford community strongly supports the public schools and has high expectations for staff and students.   According to the State of Connecticut Next Generation Performance Accountability System, Waterford Public Schools ranks in the top third of K-12 school districts in the state.  The Waterford Board of Education is a nine-member elected body.     QualificationsEDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE: High school diploma or general education degree (GED), previous experience with relevant institutional cooking experience desired. Knowledge and skills in large quantity food handling, preparation and cooking. Familiarity with public school breakfast and lunch programs desirable.
