Core Molding Technologies is hiring a Human Resources Intern to support HR initiatives, employee-related processes, and HR analytics.
At CORE, we take pride in offering a valuable and enriching experience for our interns. Our internship program is designed to provide hands-on, project-based work that directly aligns with the current needs of the department in which interns are placed. Projects may range from developing new testing methods and designing systems to leading initiatives as project managers. In addition to working alongside full-time employees, interns will have access to our Core Leadership team and participate in monthly organizational and corporate events. These events include Q&A sessions with senior associates, tours of our manufacturing plants, and various community and employee engagement activities.

We are looking for a Human Resource Intern for Fall/Autumn semester
What You'll Do
- Complete assigned projects for the HR Department, culminating in an end-of-term presentation
- Support HR projects and initiatives across the organization
- Provide customer service on general inquiries related to Benefits, Organizational Development, and HR Systems
- Assist with employee-related processes
- Assist with internal communications, employee engagement, and company events
- Support HR data collection, reporting, and analysis
- Help prepare presentations, training materials, and other HR resources
- Maintain and organize HR records, reports, and documentation
- Maintain confidentiality of employee and company information
What We're Looking For:
- Strong oral and written communication skills
- Excellent customer service and interpersonal abilities
- Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
- Sophomore status (or higher) based on credit hours
- Ability to work up to 30 hours per week
- Enrollment in a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree program focused on Human Resources, Business, or a related field
- Reliable transportation to and from the workplace

- Schedule: Monday to Friday during business hours (flexible for school schedules)
- Travel: Minimal to none
- Work Environment: Office and occasionally manufacturing floor
- Physical Requirements: Occasionally lift up to 25 lbs
