Pay Rate: $21.00/hr
Birch Agency is currently hiring aSpecial Education Paraprofessionalto assist one of our client schools in Columbus Ohio. This is afull-time, in-person positionsupporting students inK-12th grade. Multiple candidates are needed.
Position Overview:
Qualified candidates will provide support to students with a range of needs. Responsibilities may include:
Assistingnon-verbal studentswith daily living skills
Providingacademic supportin small groups or one-on-one
Supporting students withbehavioral needsunder teacher/BCBA guidance
Maintaining a safe, positive learning environment
Requirements:
Active OhioEducational Aide Permit
Experience working with students with disabilities preferred
Strong communication skills, patience, and compassion
Compensation:
Competitive pay based on experience:$20-$22 per hour
