This approach encourages cross-sector collaboration, amplifying all voices and perspectives in pursuit of transformative research impact.

The Intellectual and Land Grant Communities of Practice Project Coordinator ensures that each project – whether a national institute for early career faculty, a community co-designed project, or a collaboration with Kirwan faculty affiliates – is executed according to all relevant federal, state, university and Kirwan guidelines.  Tasks include developing project workplans, ensuring timely completion of project deliverables, project implementation, and project assessment.  In addition to serving as a project lead for each community of practice, the project coordinator also collects the relevant project outcome data and produces assessment dashboards for use by the Kirwan Executive Director for policy making purposes.  The project coordinator collects relevant data and collaborates with Kirwan’s Manager of Operations and Community Outreach Analyst to ensure proper financial reporting to internal and external funding sources. Coordinate evaluation and reporting activities for each ICP, including project debrief activities; project data collection and preliminary analysis; both formative and summative assessments of project progress and outcomes; and communication of final assessments with executive director and manager of operations for reporting purposes

Collaborate with OAA Communications project specialist and Kirwan Community Outreach Analyst to collect publicity materials relevant to each ICP. When external communication about ICPs is warranted, the ICP project coordinator will serve as the clearinghouse for information that has been approved by the executive director for dissemination outside of Kirwan.  This includes collaborating to ensure proper allocation of OAA communications / Kirwan student workers’ time to complete tasks on deadline and meet Kirwan communications standard of excellence.

Collaborate with Kirwan Executive Assistant on Kirwan-related events where applicable by providing timely workplans and information essential to the execution of ICP events and activities for which the ICP Coordinator is project lead.  This role may require work outside of standard business hours during targeted ICP-related events.
