Thompson Law, a nationally growing personal injury firm based in the Oak Lawn area of Dallas, seeks a Legal Assistant to join the new Columbus team! 
 

The Position: 
As a Legal Assistant, your primary task will be to identify sources of recovery, such as insurance policies, that could compensate our clients for their injuries. In addition, you'll gather critical case information and contribute to a positive client experience from the start. 
 

Responsibilities:                                                                              

• Gather factual and claim-related information to assist in case organization 

• Conduct thorough investigations to locate sources of recovery for our clients 

• Assist in the protection of our clients against predatory insurance practices 

• Maintained the case's electronic files, ensuring client files were complete 

• Dispatch initial letters related to the case 

Qualifications: 

• 2+ years of law firm experience preferred (personal injury experience a plus) 

• Proficiency in administrative and computer skills 

• Highly organized and detail-oriented 

• Demonstrable ability to handle and prioritize multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment 

• Bilingual in English/Spanish preferred but not required
