Licensed Practical Nurse

GiaCare Inc. is accepting applications from experienced Licensed Practical/Vocational Nurses (LPN/LVN) for a future opportunity supporting the United States Air Force at Columbus Air Force Base in Columbus, Mississippi.

This position is being recruited in anticipation of contract award. Qualified candidates will be considered for employment upon contract award.

Schedule

• Full-Time
• Monday-Friday
• 7:30 AM-4:30 PM
• Outpatient Clinic
• One-hour unpaid lunch
• No routine weekends
• No on-call
• Federal holidays observed

Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care under the supervision of a Registered Nurse or physician
• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed
• Perform patient assessments and document findings
• Assist with diagnostic procedures and patient education
• Maintain accurate electronic medical records
• Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and interdisciplinary healthcare professionals
• Promote safe, compassionate, and patient-centered care

Minimum Qualifications

• U.S. Citizen
• Graduate of a State Board of Nursing approved LPN/LVN program or equivalent military training
• Current, full, active, unrestricted LPN/LVN license in any U.S. state or territory
• Minimum one (1) year of experience as an LPN/LVN within the past two (2) years
• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification

Preferred Qualifications

• Outpatient clinical experience
• Strong communication and patient education skills
• Experience with electronic medical records
