Dinsmore is seeking a LegalAdministrative Assistant at our Columbus, OH location who will support multiple attorneys and/or paralegals in the area of Medical Malpractice Litigation.

 

Responsibilities

 

  • File and client management, formatting, proofreading and editing of documents, online filings, time entry, expense reimbursements, travel arrangements, and other administrative support duties

 

Requirements

 

  • Solid work history including 5-7 recent years providing administrative support
  • Ability to communicate effectively with all levels of staff including attorneys, paralegals and other assistants throughout the Firm
  • Intermediate to advanced-level use of Microsoft Office Suite, .pdf editing software, and related legal software
  • Experience with E-filing (federal and state) a plus
  • Experience using timekeeping software and document management systems
  • Excellent writing, grammar, proofreading skills, and meticulous attention to detail
  • Possess strong organizational and time management skills, with a keen ability to multi-task
  • Proven success as a positive team player, as well as an independent worker
  • Ability to excel in a fast-paced environment
  • Exposure to Litigation required
  • Self-directed, high energy, and advanced computer skills
  • Exposure to the following practice areas, or a desire and ability to learn these areas, is necessary: Commercial Litigation, Medical Malpractice, and TORT
