Join our Team as a Production Control Intern!

 

The Role:

We’re seeking a motivated Production Control Intern to join our team in Summer 2027! This internship offers hands-on experience in Supply Chain Management, where you’ll work on meaningful projects and gain insight into material management, forecasting, and experience in MRP systems. You’ll collaborate with the Production Control team, as well as mentors and leadership, building skills that will help launch your career!

 

 

What You’ll Be Doing:

  • Analyze large datasets within ERP systems to identify trends, gaps, and opportunities to improve parts availability and inventory performance
  • Develop and maintain reports and dashboards that provide clear visibility into consumption, shortages, and ordering activity to support daily decision-making
  • Investigate discrepancies between planned and actual demand, using data to drive root cause analysis and recommend process improvements
  • Partner with cross-functional teams (planning, procurement, manufacturing) to translate data insights into actionable changes in ordering and inventory strategy
  • Leverage ERP tools and system knowledge to improve data integrity, streamline workflows, and enhance overall process efficiency Collaboration with Procurement, IT, and suppliers

What We’re Looking For:

  • Cumulative GPA of at least 3.0
  • Currently enrolled in a degree program in Supply Chain Management
  • Desire to explore careers in the supply chain industry, specifically to material availability
  • Ability to work onsite full-time in Columbus, IN, for the duration of the Summer 2027 internship
