Job Title: Property Manager – Resort Operations

Location: Dover, OH

Compensation: $90,000 base + benefits

Position Overview

Columbia Woodlands is seeking an experienced Property Manager to oversee full-scale operations of a 400-acre luxury resort and wedding venue, including The Spring House. This role is responsible for maintaining exceptional property standards, delivering high-end guest experiences, and leading day-to-day outdoor and facility operations.

The Property Manager will ensure operational excellence across lodging, event execution, grounds maintenance, and staff performance while preserving the resort’s reputation for premium service and attention to detail.

Key Responsibilities

Property & Grounds Management

  • Oversee maintenance and presentation of 400-acre property, including trails, ponds, outdoor amenities, and event spaces
  • Ensure all facilities (Spring House, lodging, tents, common areas) meet luxury hospitality standards
  • Manage preventative maintenance programs and vendor relationships
  • Maintain safety, cleanliness, and compliance across all areas

Event & Guest Experience Oversight

  • Support execution of weddings, corporate events, and private functions (up to 175 guests)
  • Ensure seamless coordination between operations, catering, and guest services
  • Uphold high-touch service standards aligned with luxury hospitality expectations
  • Address guest concerns and resolve issues in real time

Team Leadership & Accountability

  • Lead, schedule, and manage on-site staff across operations, grounds, and event support
  • Enforce accountability, performance standards, and service excellence
  • Train and develop team members to align with brand expectations
  • Manage a rotating 7-day schedule to ensure full property coverage

Operational Management

  • Oversee daily operations, including staffing, logistics, and resource allocation
  • Monitor budgets, expenses, and operational efficiency
  • Coordinate with ownership on strategic improvements and capital projects
  • Implement systems and processes to improve workflow and guest satisfaction

Qualifications

  • 8–10+ years of property management, resort operations, or hospitality leadership experience
  • Proven experience managing large outdoor properties, resorts, or event venues
  • Strong leadership skills with the ability to hold teams accountable and drive performance
  • Experience overseeing events, weddings, or high-end guest experiences preferred
  • Highly organized, detail-oriented, and operationally driven
  • Trustworthy, dependable, and capable of working autonomously
  • Willingness to work a rotating 7-day schedule based on business needs
