Position Overview: The State of Ohio is seeking an experienced Quality Assurance Specialist 2 (Salesforce Software Tester) to support testing activities for Salesforce applications. The selected consultant will be responsible for developing testing strategies, test plans, test cases, executing functional and system testing, defect tracking, user acceptance testing (UAT), and ensuring software quality throughout the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC). This role requires close collaboration with business stakeholders, developers, and project teams in an Agile environment.

Required Skills

3+ years of experience as a Software Tester for Salesforce Applications
Experience creating testing strategies, test plans, test cases, and testing documentation
Strong understanding of Agile, Iterative, and Traditional SDLC methodologies
Experience using Azure DevOps for test management, documentation, task tracking, and collaboration
Experience with:
- Functional Testing
- System Testing
- Regression Testing
- Performance Testing
- Load Testing
- User Acceptance Testing (UAT)
Experience with defect tracking, debugging, and software implementation support
Knowledge of software quality assurance standards and testing methodologies
Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills
Excellent written and verbal communication skills

Experience with software automation procedures
Performance benchmarking and application response time analysis
Requirements analysis and business process validation
Technical documentation and user guide creation
