Essential Functions:
  • Prepares pediatric patients for radiologic procedures by explaining the process and ensuring their comfort and safety.
  • Operates radiologic equipment to capture images of pediatric patients' internal organs and structures.
  • Reviews images to ensure they meet quality standards and are suitable for diagnostic purposes.
  • Maintains accurate patient records and ensures patient confidentiality.
  • Collaborates other healthcare professionals to coordinate proper patient care.
  • Maintains and updates knowledge of radiologic technology and safety procedures to ensure the highest level of patient care.

Education Requirement:

Graduate of an accredited educational program for Radiologic Technology, required.


Licensure Requirement:
  • Active Status with the Registry by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists, required.
  • Valid “R” category Ohio Radiological License, required.

Certifications:

CPR certification, required.


Skills:

Excellent communication and organizational skills.


Experience:
  • One year of clinical experience in the Radiological Sciences, required.
  • Experience in pediatric setting, preferred.
