Local Class A Grocery Hauler – Home Daily + $7.5K Sign-On Bonus | Touch Freight
Looking for a gig that actually gets you into your own bed every single day while dropping an extra $7,500 bonus into your pocket? If you live in the Shelbyville area and want a solid local route running groceries across Indiana, Ohio, and Illinois, we need to talk.
You’ll be averaging 1,400 to 1,600 miles a week. Unloading is straightforward since we use motorized pallet jacks to bump freight right into the store back rooms. No guesswork on your shifts either, we set you up with assigned hourly start times (typically overnight between 10 PM and 5 AM) so you can plan your life around your schedule.
What you'll pull in:
- Weekly Paychecks: Averaging $1,700 a week, with our top guys clearing up to $1,900 weekly (pushing $83K annually).
- Stackable Extras: You get paid for the heavy lifting—$22 for every stop, $65 for every trailer you unload, plus $15/hr for any detention or breakdown time after 2 hours.
- Experience CPM: Starting at $0.63 for 3–11 months experience and scaling up to $0.69 per mile for 61+ months.
- The $7,500 Sign-On Bonus: Payouts drop right on schedule: $1,000 at 14 days, $1,000 at 60 days, $1,250 at 180 days, $1,750 at 270 days, and a nice $2,500 grand finale at your one-year mark!
- Paid Training: We pay you $100 a day for your 1–2 day ride-along orientation.
The Real Talk (What we need from you):
- Experience Required: You must have a valid Class A CDL with at least 3 months of tractor-trailer experience in the past 36 months.
- The Schedule: This is a 24/7 operation. You've got to be cool working nights, weekends, and holidays. Plus, remember that holiday weeks require a mandatory 6th workday.
- Getting to Work: You must live within the shaded hiring zone and have your own reliable personal transportation to get to and from the distribution center daily (slip-seat operation).
