SECURITY SPECIALIST

The Security Specialist will be responsible for maintaining a safe and secure environment for our patients, staff, and visitors. They will work closely with our healthcare team to ensure the safety and well-being of everyone in our facility. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in security and a passion for protecting others.

Key Responsibilities:

- Monitor and patrol the premises to prevent and detect any security threats

- Respond to alarms and emergencies, including medical emergencies, and take appropriate action

- Conduct regular security checks and inspections to identify potential hazards

- Monitor and control access to the facility, including screening visitors and issuing visitor passes

- Maintain accurate records of security incidents and report any suspicious activity to the appropriate authorities

- Collaborate with the healthcare team to develop and implement emergency procedures

- Train staff on security protocols and procedures

- Conduct investigations into security incidents and provide recommendations for improvement

- Stay up-to-date on security trends and implement best practices to ensure the safety of our facility

- Perform other security-related duties as assigned by management

Qualifications:

- High school diploma or equivalent required, associate or bachelor's degree in criminal justice or related field preferred

- Strong knowledge of security protocols and procedures

- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

- Ability to remain calm and make quick decisions in emergency situations

- Detail-oriented with strong observation skills

- Ability to work independently and as part of a team

- Must be able to pass a background check and drug screening
