Position Overview:

We are seeking a skilled and motivated Solar Electrician to join our growing team. The ideal candidate will have experience in the installation, maintenance, and troubleshooting of solar photovoltaic (PV) systems. You’ll play a critical role in ensuring safe, efficient, and code-compliant solar electrical work for residential projects.

Key Responsibilities:

Install, wire, and commission solar PV systems (roof and ground-mounted)
Troubleshoot and repair solar electrical systems
Interpret electrical drawings, blueprints, and system schematics
Ensure compliance with NEC and local codes
Test systems for performance and safety
Collaborate with installation crews and project managers
Maintain accurate records of work performed
Provide excellent customer service when on-site

Requirements:

Proven experience with solar PV systems (2+ years preferred)
Strong understanding of electrical systems and safety protocols
Ability to work independently and in a team environment
Comfortable working on rooftops and ladders
Valid driver’s license and clean driving record

Preferred Qualifications (Not Required):

NABCEP certification
Experience with battery storage systems
OSHA 10/30 certification
