In this per diem role (1-2 days per week), you will evaluate and treat adult patients with speech, language, voice, and swallowing disorders, developing individualized care plans to improve communication and functional outcomes. You’ll collaborate with a multidisciplinary team while maintaining accurate documentation and delivering evidence-based therapy. CFY's are encouraged to apply.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement individualized therapy programs to improve communication, cognitive function, and swallowing for patients
  • Perform comprehensive assessments using subjective evaluations and objective tests to determine patient needs and treatment goals
  • Monitor patient progress, adjust treatment plans as needed, and document outcomes to ensure optimal rehabilitation results
  • Collaborate with healthcare teams, educate patients and families, and consult with physicians to support effective treatment and care coordination

Qualifications

  • Current Georgia license as a Speech Language Pathologist or ability to obtain license
  • Recent graduates and experienced Speech Language Pathologists encouraged to apply
  • Must be familiar with treating adults with neurological conditions for all speech needs, including cognitive therapy, language, and swallowing.
