Sr. Java Full Stack Developer (Onsite)

About the role

As a Senior Java Full Stack Developer, you will make an impact by designing, developing, and maintaining scalable cloud-native applications that power critical business functions. You will be a valued member of the Engineering & Cloud Solutions team and work collaboratively with architects, DevOps engineers, and cross-functional stakeholders to deliver high-quality, secure, and efficient solutions.

In this role, you will:

·       Development of full-stack applications using Java, Python, and modern cloud technologies on AWS.

·       Provision and manage cloud infrastructure using Terraform or CloudFormation.

·       Implement and maintain CI/CD pipelines, ensuring smooth and secure deployments.

·       Integrate secure authentication protocols such as SAML and JWT.

·       Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment with business goals and technical standards.

Work model: Onsite.

What you need to have to be considered:

·       6+ years of experience in software development, with a strong focus on cloud-native applications.

·       Hands-on experience with AWS services and infrastructure provisioning.

·       Proficiency in Java and Python for backend development.

·       Experience with Git, unit testing, and CI/CD tools.

·       Familiarity with SAML, JWT, and secure authentication practices.

These will help you stand out:

·       Experience with Kubernetes and container orchestration on AWS.

·       Strong understanding of cloud-based databases like Amazon RDS and DynamoDB.

·       Excellent communication and collaboration skills.

·       Strong analytical thinking and attention to detail.

·       Experience working in Agile or DevOps environments.

Salary and compensation:

The annual salary for this position will be between $68,442 to $114,000 depending on the experience and other qualifications of the successful candidate. This position is also eligible for Cognizant’s discretionary annual incentive program and stock awards, based on performance and subject to the terms of Cognizant’s applicable plans.
