Job DetailsLevel: ExperiencedJob Location: Rightway Fasteners, Inc. - Columbus, IN 47201Salary Range: $22.00 - $24.00 HourlyJob Shift: 1st ShiftJob Title:  Group Leader Department:  Thread Rolling Auto and Hand Ops Reports to:  Manufacturing Assistant Manager Status:  Hourly/Non-Exempt Last Revised:  12/14/22 Pay Grade:      Job Summary and Primary Objectives: To monitor and assist the thread rolling process to ensure quality products.    Motivate, train and direct the work activities of subordinate staff.     Tasks and Responsibilities: Maintain good communication with TM, TL and other Group Leaders  Coordinate with PC hot parts  Maintain quality and productivity improvements through Kaizens  Assist in training programs  Complete and maintain all paperwork and data entry   Cover breaks and lunches when needed Troubleshoot machine when necessary Support management decisions Work necessary hours to accommodate production Continuous 5S  Show quality leadership skills  Maintain a safe environment and encourage safety Other duties as assigned QualificationsSkills and Abilities: Excellent people skills Good communication skills (verbal & oral) Excellent computer skills. Excellent organization skills. Excellent understanding of production processes. Good basic mechanical skill   Education and Experience: Associates degree in related area or equivalent experience. 3+ years of manufacturing experience 2+ Years of supervisory or team leading experience
