General Purpose:

To support Elwood Staffing branches and the Accounting department by processing payroll and billing in a timely andaccurate manner. Consistently support and promote the company mission, five key beliefs, philosophies, and provide Superior Customer Service in all aspects of the job.

Essential Functions:

• Process payroll in a timely and accurate manner
• Process and deliver customer invoices in a timely and accurate manner
• Follow internal control guidelines / standard processes
• Be detail oriented and a problem solver
• Apply analytical skills to identify and resolve variances from expected outcomes
• Identify areas to improve efficiencies and reduce costs
• Prepare special project analyses as requested
• Provide Superior Customer Service in all aspects of the job

Desired Skills & Experience:

• Bachelors or Associates degree in accounting or related field. Extensive experience may be considered in lieu of a degree.
• Strong analytical and problem solving skills.
• Ability to multitask, meet deadlines, and adapt to change.
• Positive attitude, team mentality, goal oriented.
• Excellent computer skills including proficiency in Microsoft Office suite, especially Microsoft Excel.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills. Communicate effectively and tactfully to all levels, both internally and externally.
