Overview:


 

This role will be supporting our Graphic Services activities under the supervision of Dr. Will Ray. An ideal candidate will have: 

  • Experience with graphic design, layout and related software.
  • Experience with at least one visual/studio-arts modality, formal training is ideal.
  • Experience with general and biomedical/anatomical illustration in traditional, mixed media and digital vector formats.
  • Knowledge of human anatomy.  Knowledge of cellular microanatomy and molecular structure representations is ideal.
  • Experience with motion graphics and computer animation, and/or traditional animation, videography and editing is ideal.
  • Experience with complex data visualization and at least one data-visualization programming language (Python, Processing, etc) is desirable.

  • Obtains supplies and equipment needed for research projects and ensures they in proper working condition.
  • Assists in laboratory analysis and data interpretation.
  • Assists in the preparation and drafting of research proposals and reports, collecting and collating supporting data.
  • Organizes and maintains laboratory records.
  • Maintains clean laboratory area and equipment.
  • Follows all safety protocols and procedures.

Education Requirement:

Enrollment in High School or an accredited undergraduate, graduate, or doctorate program, preferred.
