Overview

Floater position available for assisting anywhere in the assigned department

Responsibilities

• Housekeeping
• Assist Caster and LMF deck in all areas of job
• Stocking Materials, and Various Clean-ups
• Caster turn Arounds
• Machine Changes and Assist at Ladle Wall
• Train on Caster Crane
• Safe operation of all area cranes and mobile equipment
• Support routine maintenance activities, downturn work, and preventative maintenance checks
• Continuous observations and recording of quality data
• Various utility functions assigned by area supervisor

Qualifications

Required 

• Strong safety awareness
• Good communication skills (verbal, written, and electronic)
• Self-motivated with the ability to work consistently without direct supervision
• Works well with others and independently
• Quality and detail-oriented
• Mechanically inclined
• Willingness to work scheduled and unscheduled
• Ability to work routinely in a hot
• Repetitive stretching, reaching, lifting, and walking will be required to support routine responsibilities

Preferred

• Experience working in an industrial setting
• Forklift and Crane Experience
