S&T Bank Summer Internship Program: May 20, 2026 -August 7, 2026

S&T Bank’s Summer Internship Program is a compensated professional learning experience that offers meaningful, practical, real-life experience.

Summer internship participants will:

  • Explore careers in the Banking industry,
  • Participate in volunteer opportunities,
  • Join Q&A sessions with Bank leaders and executives,
  • Connect through team building activities and much more!

Hours may be determined based on the needs of the department but will not exceed 29 hours per week.

Internship Program Starting Rate: $13.00/hour

Function: Works under the direction of department management, in a capacity of departmental backup and support, performing assigned duties.Ā Ā Ā Ā Ā 

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • AssistĀ inĀ developing andĀ maintainingĀ automation scripts (using PowerĀ Automate or similar scripting languages)Ā to automate routine system administrative tasks such as auto-assignment of role-basedĀ accessĀ system.Ā 
  • AssistĀ inĀ analyzing existing manual workflows and propose automated alternatives to reduce human errorĀ and repetitive tasks.Ā 
  • AssistĀ inĀ designing and deploying ā€œbotsā€ to handle high-volume and repetitive tasks that the vendor softwareĀ doesn’tĀ support natively.Ā 
  • AssistĀ with writingĀ documentation of automation scripts and processes.Ā 
  • Work as part of a team on projects.Ā 
  • PossessĀ a proficientĀ knowledge of Microsoft Word,Ā ExcelĀ and PowerPoint. Operates PC equipment as needed to process information, prepareĀ reportsĀ and perform research.Ā 
  • Performs research and/or analysis on special projects, as assigned.Ā 
  • Maintains a good working relationship with bank employees.Ā 
  • Demonstrates strong interpersonal skills with the ability to work independently, as well as motivated to work as a team player to contribute to the success of the department and in turn, the organization.Ā 
  • PerformsĀ additionalĀ duties asĀ required.Ā 

Education:

Requires a high school diploma or equivalent education. In pursuit of a four-year degree in business, or related.

Experience:

Up to one-year general experience preferred.

Physical Demands:

Use of manual dexterity skills for typing and data entry up to 60% of the business day. Specific vision requirements include close vision of 18ā€-20ā€ for computer work. Must be able to lift and/or move up to 40 lbs. Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform essential functions. Occasional travel may be required.

Salary Range:
